    Description

    WWII Japanese Army Type 94 pattern canteen that has around 98% mustard brown paint. Canteen body is maker marked on the bottom for OSAKA Aluminum and Showa dated 1941. Harness is the late war variety without the lower horizontal band and non adjustable shoulder harness.  Has faded Gov. Ink stamps on harness. This canteen has the Type 3 rubber stopper, top half is slightly hard/crusty, lower half is still slightly soft. This canteen has no stopper strap.
