This pin depression glass sugar dish is in the Dogwood pattern, also known as Apple Blossom and/or Wild Rose. This pattern was manufactured by MacBeth-Evans Glass from 1929-1932 so this will soon qualify as an antique. The beautiful flowers cover the dish with a single flower in the bottom. My depression glass book is a number of years old, but it does not indicate that the sugar dish ever had a lid. This is such a lovely piece to add to your depression glass collection or as an individual piece for display, as a floral vase, etc.
