DESCRIPTION:
Dating to the Victorian era, this beautiful frame was used for pressing flowers, a hobby that still has popularity today! This wonderful piece has a solid wood frame, painted glass top piece, and wood backing board with red fabric and brass hardware on the back. Wood backing board is hinged. Stamped "M D Co" on the back of the frame.
DIMENSIONS:
Frame measures 7" in width, 9" in height, 1" in depth
CONDITION:
Flower press is offered in very good, as-found antique condition, with patina and loss of finish as well as some rust and loss of finish to metal pieces. Inner pieces have some minor wear, but no major damage noted. Please review all photos before purchasing.
